Robberg is well known for its challenging hiking trails and incredible scenery. Located just outside Plettenberg Bay, this nature reserve offers a mix of walking routes, from rocky to forest to sandy beaches, with something for every kind of hiker and fitness level.
This guided walk starts outside the entrance to Robberg Nature Reserve, located just outside Plettenberg Bay in the Garden Route. Your guide will meet you at the gate and will pay your entrance fee for you.
This is the perfect adventure trip for outdoor-type couples and active families with children over 10 years of age. You have two routes to choose from:
The Witsand Route is approximately 5.5km long and will take 4-5 hours with the famous Island included. This route loops back to the start and is challenging enough to add a few moments of adrenaline to your walk.
The Point Route is approximately 9-11km long and will take 5+ hours. This route loops around the whole peninsula and is only for experienced hikers over the age of 16.
Bring some picnic snacks with you and enjoy a relaxing break with a view or spend some time enjoying the private Robberg beaches. Your experienced guide knows the local plants, wildlife and also the best Instagram spots!
